Michael Burrows, founder of Brand Music, one of Australia’s most successful jingle houses, is both a longtime musical and advertising collaborator. We grew up listening obsessively to mix tapes. Thus the decision to build his business identity around the key visual of a cassette. A piece of technology which was a visceral part of our shared musical apprenticeship.
From a design point of view, the typography and icon represented a fond nod to the iconic TDK logotype. After all, TDK did amazing things to our systems.
The key identity was then rolled out to everything from business cards to the Brand Music website.
