One of the undisputed highlights of my career was walking into an Apple store and seeing this video playing in store.
Commissioned by the same serial entrepreneur who brought SONOS to Australian shores, this video was for Canopus, a leading Japanese video editing software platform.
My role was to create the musical component of this video which had to accompany the sinuous and pulsing metallic landscape that had already been animated.
There seemed to be something majestic and empirical about this futuristic world which drew me towards creating a theme that evoked the orchestral flourishes and heraldry of the Star Wars theme, but underscored by a downbeat electronic bed of beats and futuristic sound effects.
This intro sequence was a finalist in the animation category for the prestigious AGDA (Australian Graphic Design Association) Awards.
