It’s not every day that you get to design a logo for an internationally syndicated TV show.
The International Fishing Series brings together the world’s finest fisher-folk, with the best fishing locations, vessels and some fantastically, fancy fish.
Now while I have worked on campaigns for the Boating Industry Association (BIA), I was still pretty green around the gills when it came to appreciating the nuances of fishing.
Ever the professional however, I went in deep, and channelled every fish ‘n’ chip meal I’ve ever had, so as to design something super crispy.
The logo features the words, International Fishing Series, which are braced by two simple arcs, which describe the form of a fish at its most simple and iconic. The identity is also broken up into two horizontal halves which represent the sea and sky.
