You haven’t really earned your stripes as a presenter until you’ve had to sell-in your ‘creative’ to a room full of legal eagles who don’t suffer fools lightly.
Luckily I’m no fool, and was able to convince a room full of them via the shiny, shiny instrument of cool logic. When you consider their adversarial nature, this was no mean feat!
The upshot and success of the campaign was such that Lander & Rogers ran with the campaign for 5 years.
The specific challenge of this project was to create a marketing campaign to drive up clerkship applications from graduating law students.
The key thought (and promise) – to, “Land on your feet”, not only tapped into the aspiration of every student, but also echoed the ‘Land’ in the firm’s name, “Lander & Rogers”. This created a truly ownable positioning that really had legs.
