Having designed Bialik’s 70th anniversary identity, it was a great honour to be invited back to design their 75th.
I approached the 75th identity thinking about the many layers of history that build up over time, forming the collective memory of an institution.
From a design perspective, this led to the creation of an identity that featured the numerals overlapping to create a third plane.
In terms of the poster design, the boldness of the logo meant that I was able to make it the focus of the layout – using the various intersecting geometric planes as placeholders for a selection of key images.
The images were a combination of archival photographs, as well as the best of the photographs that have been shot for the various campaigns that I’ve produced for Bialik over the last few years.
