I’m still not really sure what this was all about.
It may have been a dream.
But I happily followed the white rabbit down the mossy river banks to spend a truly surreal afternoon shooting these photos for my good friend, Paul Andersen.
From a genteel spot of tea on The Yarra – to a hostage situation turned awry – I dove this way and that to make sure that I captured both the mirth and the drama of the day.
The post production and colour-grading really helped to amp up the dream-like state of these very unlikely images.
