Mindful In May – Sit For Something

For my third Mindful In May animation, I wanted to up the ante by creating an overall positioning for the meditation programme that could then be extrapolated through the video, as well as being deployed across all of the related marketing material.

As we’re all very familiar with the idea of being roused to “stand for something”, I thought we could similarly inspire prospective participants to “sit for something”!!!

Given that the most iconic mediation pose is of someone sitting beatifically, this was a great way of drawing attention to the idea of meditating and sitting in support of a socially important cause.

The animation dramatises lots of different scenarios where people, and even animals, stop what they’re doing, so they can meditate and mindfully sit for something.

From writing the script, to illustrating the story board, to recording the original soundtrack, once again, I was all over the film in as many ways that I could be, short of producing the fantastic animation that was done once again by Plainly Simple Studios.
