Mindful In May is a month long meditation programme that is held each May.
Devised by Elise Lew, who is one of Australia’s leading psychiatrists, the programme aims to demystify mindfulness and to introduce the profound benefits of meditation that can be enjoyed in as little as ten minutes a day.
Mindful In May participants canvas their family and friends for sponsorship and those contributions are then directed towards financing clean water wells for vulnerable communities in third world countries.
It’s an amazing programme that has grown exponentially each year, making an incredible difference to the lives of thousands of people around the world.
While this video was the second animation that I worked on for MIM, it was the first one that I developed from the ground up.
From providing the original soundtrack and writing the script, to art directing the animation from Plainly Simple Studios, it was fantastic to have that level of input.
