I was totally getting my ‘culture jam’ on when I designed this t-shirt which cobbled together the cult of Nike® with the cult of IKEA™.
The idea was based in noting that by adding the letter ‘A’ to Nike we suddenly had the word IKEA included in the same structure. This got me thinking about the absurd prospect of runners that the consumer has to assemble with an Allen key.
From there I started imagining the kind of exploded diagram that might accompany such a product. Which by extension seemed like a pretty cool idea for a t-shirt.
