On the musical side of the fence, this is an interview that I did with online bass guitar magazine, No Treble.
They were keen to speak to me about my recent acquisition of a 1964 Hofner 500/1 violin bass.
This was the same bass guitar model that Paul McCartney played during the early days of The Beatles – although his was a left handed version.
Purchased from Kings Road Vintage Guitars in London, it really was a dream come true to be able to add such a sublime instrument to my arsenal of axes. It even came with the original Selmer tweed case, which is a big deal from a collectors perspective.
The photos included in the article were taken by the very talented Melbourne photographer, Dean Schmideg.
